INTEGRATED TRANSMITTER/CAMERA SYSTEM

The IMT DropCam-II (DTxII) is a small ruggedized COFDM (DVB-T compliant) transmitter with integrated camera and microphone housedin an IP 66 rated enclosure. This convenient package makes it an ideal solution for rapid deployment and tactical surveillance scenarios. The DTxII has been uniquely designed featuring a removable sensor module. An assortment of sensor modules may be fitted depending on the desired use. The DTxII is fully HD capable when a companion HD Sensor Module is used. A variety of HD sensor modules are available including Remote SD/HD Camera Sensor Module Quad Video Matrix Sensor Module. When using an HD camera wider field of views are achievable without sacrificing resolution when digitally zooming into a region of interest.

The DTxII comes standard with an Integrated Swivel Camera SD Module that includes a low-light camera (<0.008LUX), combined with an infrared LED and high dynamic range microphone. The IR LED enables true 0 light performance. This IR-LED may be turned off to eliminate detection for covert surveillance applications. The swivel camera head can be manually rotates 180°. The DTxII offers exceptional RF performance and durability, combined with true ease of operation and superb H.264 high profile encoding. The DTxII uses COFDM digital RF Transmission enabling superior non-line-of-sight performance in buildings, culverts and urban environments. This level of performance is unattainable with conventional analog or 802.11(Wi-Fi) products.

The DTxII integrated battery will power the transmitter for up to 4 hours, and can be recharged using the AC adaptor provided in the kit. Security of transmission is ensured through the use of the AES 128/256 BCRYPT1 & 2 encryption.
