Interview with Eric Austin
BIO: Eric Austin is the Chief Media Pilot for Measure, the “Drone as a Service” company. He is an Emmy award-winning aerial cinematographer who has worked on over 100 productions for names such as The History Channel, National Geographic, USA, TBS, Anheuser-Busch, Nike, CBS, and Car and Driver Magazine. He is also a user of IMT’s MicroLite wireless camera transmitter. Measure, a U.S. provider of drone services for enterprise customers, has announced a new division dedicated specifically to the arts and entertainment industry. Under its new division, Measure Media (M2), the company is operating a nationwide network of full-time unmanned aircraft system (UAS) pilots for cinematography. Eric was previously owner/operator of HeliVideo Productions LLC, a firm purchased by Measure.

Interview with Chris Strammachia
BIO: Chris Strammachia is the Chief Technologist and Founder of Vicareo Systems, Inc. Chris is a Visual Robotics Expert with 20+ years engineering experience with automotive automation. He founded Vicareo Systems Inc. and has been the visionary and driving force behind Vicareo while leading the company through a period of dramatic revitalization and growth. Followed by serious intensive researches that have lead to the development of “RefCam” a unique professional sports action camera designed to broadcast wirelessly at any sporting event. Vicareo successfully launched the RefCam in January 2016 at the NHL All-Star game in Nashville, TN, USA. Sportsnet a division of Rogers Media, became the first media company in the world to broadcast through Refcam. IMT Vislink is a Vicareo partner, and the companies have collaborated on “action-cam” POV wireless camera/transmitter applications.

BIO: John Kowalski is Director of Broadcast and Network sales at Clear-Com, a global provider of intercom and connectivity solutions. With over 28 years of experience in the broadcast and production markets John has worked with and assisted clients in events ranging from Olympic Games to Political Conventions. His experience in wireless, hardwired and IP communication systems design and implementation includes work with broadcast and cable networks, independent stations, station groups, and mobile production companies. John has been affiliated with Clear-Com in the role of end-user, distributor, and as Director of Broadcast & Network Sales since 2010. Clear-Com is a trusted global provider of professional intercom and connectivity solutions. Its LQ Series IP interface devices connect intercom and audio systems, and route signals to any destination over secure IP networks. With the integration of LQ devices within newsnet, Clear-Com makes it possible for routing IFBs and PLs to any device in the network.

BIO: Michael Accardi is president of CueScript, Inc. He is an experienced leader in the broadcast industry known for putting his customers first. With more than 27 years in management, sales, marketing and product development for broadcast manufacturers, Michael has procured an expansive skill set that stems from his work at top-tier companies such as Sachtler, Anton/Bauer, Autoscript and Vitec Videocom. Cuescript is one of IMT Vislink’s key newsnet ecosystem partners. They are the leading supplier of teleprompters and peripherals to broadcasters, universities and colleges throughout the world. With CueScript’s new CSP10S 10.4″ IP-based teleprompter, CueiT Software and its new line of field prompters, field crews can now have the same luxury as the anchors in the studio. The newsnet IP network allows for the signal to be sent to the field and allows the field crews to change the story from the field.

Interview with Andy Wormser
BIO: Andy Wormser is director of product design and operations for the AP (Associated Press) ENPS solution. He oversees global product development and design for AP ENPS and manages operations and support for the Americas. Prior to joining AP in 2005, he was news director at Hearst-Argyle’s WPTZ-TV/WNNE-TV in Burlington, Vermont. Andy began his television news career at KCAU-TV, Sioux City, Iowa, then joined WPTZ-TV, holding positions as reporter, bureau chief, assignment editor and assistant news director. He also was an assignment editor for WGME-TV in Portland, Maine. He served as president of two state AP broadcast organizations.

newsnet is MOS-integrated with AP ENPS, which will provide automated bandwidth control to the live shot and allows the producer to see full operational status on the ENPS screen.
