IMT’S SEAN DREW RECEIVES PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE BLOOMING GROVE SERVICE AWARD

MOUNT OLIVE, NJ, MARCH 11, 2016 Integrated Microwave Technologies (IMT), a leader in advanced digital microwave systems serving the broadcast, sports, entertainment and law enforcement markets, is pleased to announce that Sean Drew, business development manager, law enforcement, has received the Blooming Grove Service Award from the Pennsylvania State Police for his continued dedication and support before, during and after the sale of IMT’s products.

Drew was integral in supporting and supplying the Commonwealth with a state-wide, long-range microwave video platform for the state’s airborne emergency response systems, as well as its incident command and control stations. IMT outfitted state police helicopters with tactical video downlink systems, including IMT’s SkyMaster, NVG Access Remote and Omni Antenna technologies, which transmit to IMT’s tactical receiver solutions, including PSRx tactical suitcase receivers and MobilCMDR handheld receivers. This provided a much needed service when it mattered most, which was in turn recognized by the Pennsylvania State Police.

“The men and women of the Pennsylvania State Police do a wonderful job of keeping the citizens of the Keystone state safe and I am honored that IMT and myself have been recognized for our contributions to public safety,” says Drew. “We take great pride in providing law enforcement with state-of-the-art products and look forward to continuing to work with the Pennsylvania State Police and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.”

IMT’s transmitter and receiver solution gives the Pennsylvania State Police capabilities to support the most rapid response to events, on-scene situational awareness and true interoperability. True interoperability is achieved due to the fact that IMT’s downlink system tactical receivers can be handed to different jurisdictions and disciplines to support joint response and mutual aid. The fixed receive sites are also intended to be interoperable with any other aircraft from different jurisdictions or agencies (federal or state) with technically capable equipment.

“I am extremely proud that Sean was recognized with the Blooming Grove Service Award,” says John Payne IV, president of IMT. “Sean’s commitment to supporting the men and women of law enforcement is a reflection of IMT’s dedication to them as a whole. Having Sean receive this award really underscores our devotion to our customers long past the final sale.”
